As many of you know, Nick Lindsey is stepping down as PAC at the end of the semester. Nick has done a fantastic job as PAC, working with all of you to provide better outreach to your alumni. Nick has also increased the attendance at our annual NCMEA dinner (this year we had over 80 brothers) and has made the NCMEA exhibit booth something we can all be proud of. Please join me in thanking Nick for everything he has done for Phi Mu Alpha and Province 20.
With Nick stepping down that obviously leads to an open position on the Province 20 Leadership Team. If you are interested in becoming the PAC you should send a letter of intent to both Dean Shatley (kdstwo1234@aol.com) and Pat Clancy (pscpma@yahoo.com). Your letter of intent should include why you want the position and what ways you have volunteered for the fraternity. You should also include a brief resume if you have one. If you have already emailed me about this position or spoken with me in person you still need to send this letter and resume.
Before applying, you should look at the National Web site to see what is required and expected of the PAC at www.sinfonia.org
In addition to those duties, the Province 20 PAC should:
Have good writing skills
Have basic web site design experience (or willing to learn - nothing major, just basic)
Be able to travel
Be able to present at annual workshops and council meetings
Be able to attend national events occasionally for PAC training
Coordinate NCMEA Dinner and Exhibit Booth
Collegiate brothers are also eligible for this position.
The deadline for applications is January 10, 2008
